What is Astral Memory?
Astral Memory is a study app with two tools: a tap-to-reveal reader for line-by-line memorization and an image-ready flashcard system.

How does the tap-to-reveal reader work?
Paste or type your text, then practice line by line. Tap the right side of the screen to reveal the next line; tap the left side to go back one line.

How do I create flashcards?
Open the Flashcards section, create a new card, and add front and back content. You can paste text or add images to either side.

What image formats are supported for flashcards?
JPG and PNG.

How do I reorder flashcards?
From the card list, use drag and drop to move cards to a new position.

How do I edit or delete a card?
Open the card to edit its content. Use the delete option in the card list or within the card.

Can I see all my cards in one place?
Yes. The card list shows every card in the deck so you can quickly find and edit items.

Does Astral Memory work offline?
Yes. All core features work without an internet connection.

Where is my data stored?
Your text and images are stored on your device. If you use iCloud device backups or an encrypted computer backup, your Astral Memory data is included in those backups and remains in your Apple account.

Do you collect my notes, images, or personal information?
No. Your study content stays on your device. We do not receive or store your content on our servers.

Do you use analytics or crash reports?
If you have opted in to share diagnostics with app developers through Apple, we may receive anonymous, aggregated crash and performance reports from Apple. We do not receive personally identifiable information from those reports.

How do I back up or move my data to a new iPhone?
Use iCloud device backup, iPhone-to-iPhone transfer, or an encrypted computer backup. After restoring your new device from backup, your Astral Memory data should be available.

What happens if I delete the app?
Deleting the app removes your local data. Back up your device first if you want to keep your decks and reader text.

Is there a subscription or in-app purchases?
If subscriptions or in-app purchases are offered, billing is handled by Apple. See your App Store listing for current pricing. Manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

Is the app suitable for kids?
